Slide it to the right to turn it on or to the left to turn the tripmeter off.  <\/td><td>Once the power is turned on in the vehicle, the tripmeter is ready for operation. The tripmeter does not have a power switch.  <br\/><mark style=\"background-color:#fcb900\" class=\"has-inline-color\">If necessary, install an additional switch on the red wire supplying the tripmeter. <\/mark><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rozpoczynanie-pomiarow-z-ekranu-startowego\" style=\"font-size:21px\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Starting_measurements\"><\/span>Starting measurements<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:#fcb900\" class=\"has-inline-color\">To start measuring, the tripmeter must have a source of information about the distance traveled connected and calibrated: sensors or GPS (if built-in). See chapters: <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.itripcomputer.com\/en\/tripmeters\/classic-tripmeter\/configuration\/\">Configuration<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.itripcomputer.com\/en\/tripmeters\/classic-tripmeter\/calibration\/\">Calibration<\/a>. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Measurements_%E2%80%93_operation\"><\/span>Measurements &#8211; operation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After powering on, the tripmeter will show zero short distance values in the left window and zero long distance values in the right window. Start driving. This will increase the distance values (if the -\/0\/+ switch is set to the right).  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Deleting_the_short_path\"><\/span>Deleting the short path<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Press the INTERMEDIATE ZERO button to delete the short path.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Erasing_the_long_road\"><\/span>Erasing the long road<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Press the TOTAL ZERO button to erase the long path.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Correction_of_the_long_road\"><\/span>Correction of the long road<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The top hebel switch located on the right side of the tripmeter is used to correct the long path. You can use it: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tilt it up once to add 10 m or down to subtract 10 m. Repeat this action if you need <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tilt and hold the switch up to add distance or down to subtract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Full_correction_of_the_long_road\"><\/span>Full correction of the long road<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using the Long Way Correction functions and adding correction combinations with the FAST button pressed can set the desired long way value very quickly.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>press the FAST button and then tilt and hold the switch up to add FULL KILOMETER distances or down to subtract FULL KILOMETER distances <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Change_the_parameter_in_the_left_window\"><\/span>Change the parameter in the left window<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Press the VIEW button briefly to change the displayed parameter.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Changing_the_direction_of_charging\"><\/span>Changing the direction of charging<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lower hebel switch, located on the right side of the tripmeter, is used to change the direction or lock the count. The switch has three positions: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>left marked&#8221;-&#8220;: tripmeter counts backward<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>middle one marked &#8220;0&#8221;: the tripmeter does not count<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Right marked &#8220;+&#8221;: tripmeter counts forward<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Brightness_adjustment\"><\/span>Brightness adjustment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Successive presses of the <strong>Dimmer<\/strong> button change the brightness of the LED displays and button backlighting.
