Main rules for navigating the MENU
The most important rules for navigating the menu are below:
- OK briefly causes depending on the context:
- entry to submenu from main branch
- value validation
- The CLR briefly does, depending on the context:
- exit from submenu to main branch
- arrow buttons scroll through submenu lines
- MENU long from the main branch level exits the menu to the start screen and saves all settings.

Calling the menu
- Long press MENU (approx. 6 s) to bring the H-100 tripmeter to the start screen position (if you see the start screen, skip this point)
- Then press MENU for 6 seconds to enter the main MENU branch.
Device settingsDevice settings
Use the device settings menu to:
- enable/disable the built-in GPS module
- selecting the version of the GPS module located in the tripmeter (see notes below the photos)
- selecting the language version of the MENU
- deleting the contents of the SD card built into the tripmeter
- selecting the operating mode (see notes below the photos)
- select measurement units: metric – meters, kilometers or imperial – miles
Navigate the menu:
- use the up/down arrows to browse through subsequent menu lines
- change the value using the OK button
- use the CLR button to exit to the main menu tree
Remember. You haven’t saved your settings yet.


The operating mode is related to the purchased options. The mode is presented on the start screen. The photo above shows that the device only has the tripmeter mode, i.e. the mode should be set as: tripmeter. However, after replacing the battery, you may not know/remember what mode you had purchased.
Try the basic mode: tripmeter and then try the mode: azimuth + tripmeter.
The mode is the first parameter that needs to be set after replacing the memory battery. See: Replacing the tripmeter battery.
Tripmeters manufactured after 2023 have the ublox NEO GPS module. Earlier versions had the GlobalTop module.
Old = GlobalTop, Neo = ublox.
Not sure – try both settings and watch the GPS LED. When you select the wrong setting, the GPS LED will remain off.

Time settings
Menu designed to set the metrometer’s built-in RTC clock. Please note that in the GPS version, when you set the Time Synchronization with GPS, the display will be updated to GPS time. It is nevertheless necessary to have the correct time zone and summer/winter time.
